How Peri Built Apollo Inspections LLC

Peri McCulloch brought experience from real estate, commercial cleaning, restoration operations, construction-related work, and the legal field when she established Apollo Inspections LLC in 2002. Her background taught her how to evaluate property conditions, communicate clearly, oversee complicated work, and help people understand the decisions in front of them.

Peri was the driving force behind building and growing Apollo Inspections LLC. She developed the company around careful observation, straightforward communication, and education and not simply delivering a report, but helping clients understand their property and ask better questions.

Billy McCulloch contributed extensive construction and inspection experience, including work in framing, customer service, supervision, land development, custom-home building, and property restoration. His knowledge became an important part of Apollo’s early inspection work, while Peri led the development of the company, its client relationships, and its team.

Peri McCulloch

Founder and Owner | Nevada Certified Home Inspector License #587

Peri McCulloch is the founder, owner, and driving force behind Apollo Inspections LLC. She has lived in the Las Vegas area since 1963 and brings a deep familiarity with the community, its growth, and the variety of properties found throughout Southern Nevada.

Her professional background includes real estate, commercial cleaning, restoration operations, construction-related work, and extensive experience in the legal field. Peri combined those perspectives when she established Apollo Inspections LLC in 2002 and built the company into the experienced inspection team it is today.

Peri especially values the educational side of an inspection. She enjoys answering clients’ questions and helping them understand the property, the report, and the maintenance considerations that may lie ahead.

Billy McCulloch

Certified Inspector | Nevada Certified Home Inspector License #572

Billy McCulloch brought extensive construction and property experience to Apollo Inspections LLC. He began as a construction laborer and worked through framing, customer service, supervision, land development, and high-end custom-home construction.

Billy also worked with Peri in property restoration, evaluating damage, preparing estimates, and overseeing repairs. His understanding of how different parts of a building fit together supports his practical, methodical approach to an inspection.

His construction knowledge and inspection experience have played an important role in Apollo’s work since the company’s early years.

Kevin Proctor

Certified Inspector | Nevada Certified Home Inspector License #2868

Kevin Proctor brought hands-on handyman experience to Apollo Inspections LLC. Before becoming a certified inspector, he also worked with his father as a Xerox technician, where he learned to examine equipment methodically before making recommendations.

That careful approach carries into his property inspections. Kevin values the opportunity to give clients clear information about a home or building and help them better understand the conditions documented during the inspection.

Joseph “Joey” Walter

Certified Inspector | Nevada Certified Home Inspector License #2869

Joseph “Joey” Walter studied mechanical engineering in North Carolina and worked on dragster motors before moving to the Las Vegas Valley. He later operated a handyman business, gaining practical experience with homes and the systems that keep them functioning.

Joey enjoys inspecting the wide variety of properties found throughout Southern Nevada and meeting the people who live in them. His mechanical background and hands-on experience support a careful, systems-focused approach to each inspection.

Southern Nevada properties can still surprise him. During one inspection, the “decorative” lizards he noticed outside turned out to be real chuckwallas.

Alex Nobles

Certified Inspector | Nevada Certified Home Inspector License #2770

Alex Nobles began his career in commercial architecture, where evaluating an existing building was an important step before planning a renovation or expansion. He moved into property inspection in 2019 and found that his architectural background translated naturally to residential and commercial buildings.

Alex appreciates that no two inspections are identical. Builders, remodelers, owners, building ages, and construction methods all leave their mark on a property, making every inspection a new opportunity to observe and understand how the building has changed over time.

One especially memorable inspection involved a Boulder City home built in the 1930s that still had a wall hatch originally used for milk delivery.

Leonard “Lenny” Marshall

Certified Inspector | Nevada Certified Home Inspector License #2932

Leonard “Lenny” Marshall is a retired police officer who brought years of observation, documentation, and investigative experience to property inspection. He also draws on practical handyman experience when examining a home’s visible and accessible systems and components.

Lenny’s background taught him to pay attention to details, evaluate the information in front of him, and communicate his observations clearly. He applies that same disciplined approach to every Apollo inspection.

Debbie

Office Manager

As Apollo Inspections LLC’s office manager, Debbie helps clients with scheduling, appointment coordination, and communication. She plays an important role in keeping the inspection process organized and helping clients connect with the appropriate member of the Apollo team.

Inspection Tools That Support Careful Observation

Apollo’s inspectors use professional tools when they can provide additional information about an accessible system or condition. These tools support the visual inspection and the inspector’s judgment; they do not replace specialized testing or make concealed areas visible.

Thermal Imaging – An infrared camera displays surface-temperature patterns. Those patterns may help an inspector identify an area that deserves closer examination, but thermal imaging does not see through walls or conclusively identify moisture, missing insulation, or hidden damage.

Moisture Meters – A moisture meter can help assess moisture levels in accessible materials at specific locations. Readings provide supporting information, but the instrument does not identify mold or determine the full source or extent of a moisture condition.

Elevated Camera Equipment – Camera equipment may help document portions of a roof or exterior that cannot be viewed safely from a walkable surface. Access, height, weather, roofing materials, and site conditions can still limit what the inspector is able to observe.

What Peri Expects From Every Apollo Inspection

Peri built Apollo Inspections LLC around a straightforward idea: examine the property carefully, document what is observable, and help the client understand the information without exaggeration or unnecessary alarm.

Careful Observation

Every property is treated as its own situation. Apollo’s inspectors evaluate the visible and accessible systems and components, document relevant conditions, and avoid making assumptions about areas they cannot inspect.

Clear Explanations

Inspection findings are presented in straightforward language with photographs and appropriate context. The goal is to give you useful information—not overwhelm you with technical language or unnecessary alarm.

Questions Are Welcome

Clients are encouraged to attend when possible, ask questions during the inspection, and contact Apollo after reading the report. An inspection should leave you better informed about the property.
